Distribution and warehousing
Agency workers for warehousing and distribution
Order picking, loading and unloading, forklift and reach truck. Work where one no-show at six in the morning keeps a lorry waiting straight away.

What makes this work different
In a distribution centre the question is not whether someone can work, but whether they are there and whether their paperwork holds up. A reach truck certificate that expired last month is the same as no certificate in an audit. And a picker who reaches sixty per cent of the standard costs you more than the difference in hourly rate.
We check certificates by number and expiry date before anyone enters the building, and we report it when someone is not making the standard instead of waiting until you notice yourself.
Where we supply
Distribution centres and wholesalers around The Hague and Rotterdam. For shifts that start before rush hour we drive the crew ourselves.

The work
What we supply people for. If your work is not listed, it is usually a variant of one of these — call and tell us.
Order picking
By scanner, by voice or from a list. Units, cases and pallets. We ask what the standard is beforehand, so the worker knows what is expected and you get no surprise.
Loading and unloading
By hand and with the pallet truck. Checking count and damage, and recording what is wrong before the driver pulls away.
Forklift and reach truck
Only with a valid certificate that we have checked. No 'he'll manage'. That is also why this sometimes takes a day longer than you would like.
Inbound, stock and returns
Booking in, updating locations, counting and assessing returns. Work for someone who can read what is on the label — and that cannot be taken for granted.
Repacking and promotional work
Building displays, bundling, relabelling. Peak work that often has to happen on a Saturday or in the evening, and therefore needs a crew that is available then.

Hours, peaks and conditions
- Shifts
- Two and three-shift rotas, nights included. We supply by the crew, not by the individual.
- Busiest moments
- The start of the week, the days before a public holiday and the weeks around promotions.
- Conditions
- From dry warehouse to chilled at 2 to 7 °C and frozen at −20 °C. For freezer work we tell you in advance who has done it before.
- Safety
- Safety shoes and a high-visibility vest are compulsory. We send nobody without them, not even on a morning when we are short.

What we arrange before the first shift
Not because it looks good on a website, but because the fine lands on your desk.
- Identity checked against the original document, with a copy on file.
- Residence or work document checked, including its expiry date — and an alert in the system before that date passes.
- Forklift, reach truck and pallet truck certificates checked by number and expiry date, with a copy on file.
- VCA basic safety certification where you require it.
- Safety instruction in their own language, including what to do after a collision or a near miss.

Pay and collective agreement
Our agency worker is paid according to your terms, not ours. The collective agreement for agency workers requires that they receive terms equivalent to someone on your own payroll: pay, allowances, expenses and leave. For that we need your pay structure — scales, allowance percentages and expense rules — and we enter it into our system once. After that the system calculates every week with those percentages, not with an estimate.
Which collective agreement applies to you
Which collective agreement applies in a distribution centre genuinely differs per company: sometimes road haulage, sometimes a company agreement of its own as at the supermarket distribution centres, sometimes that of the wholesaler the warehouse belongs to. We ask for your pay structure and enter it. No assumptions, because a shift allowance applied wrongly becomes a retrospective assessment.
Other sectors
We do not work one corner of the market. Many of our people work in more than one of these sectors.
